Our classes are taught by ICEA Certified Educator and Doula Crystal Snider. She has been teaching local parents how to prepare and give birth for 6 years and has attended nearly 100 births as a support person in that time. Her teaching style is student focused, engaging and evidenced based and she strives to be warm and welcoming to ALL parents.

10a-12p: Labor Coping Skills: A variety of skills are reviewed including relaxation, breathing patterns, attention focusing, touch, visualization, and position changes for comfort. This class is recommended for all expectant families. it should be taken after you have completed your full day birth class or as a refresher. 2 hour class with support person.
1p-3p: Postpartum: Breastfeeding & Newborn Care: Learn Breastfeeding and pumping basics as well as making the smooth transition to the postpartum period. We will cover topics such as positioning, latching, common newborn issues, diapering, soothing and more. Bring your pump if you'd like to learn how to use it! 2 hours class with support person.
9-4: Full Day Birth with Hospital Tour: We will explore the signs and stages of labor, medical interventions, options for pain management, breathing, natural comfort measures and postpartum to help you prepare for a confident birth experience. It is not only for first time parents who need a childbirth class quickly, but great as a refresher for returning parents. Full day with hospital tour guided by local doulas. Support person encouraged to attend.
